Risperdal is the brand name for the generic drug risperidone, it belongs to a drug class known as atypical antipsychotics. What is Risperdal used for? Risperdal dosage

Do not take Risperdal more or lesser than was prescribed by your doctor neither should you take it for periods longer than your doctor prescribes. The tablet could be in form of 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg and 4 mg (milligrams). Risperdal is typically taken once or two times daily, at about same time every day. Risperdal could be taken with food or without food. Nevertheless the liquid form of Risperdal shouldn’t be taken with soda or tea, water or low fat milk will be a better option. It should be measured with a special measuring spoon or the provided dosing syringe.
